In today's video podcast, Dr. Justin Marchegiani and Evan Brand discussed different health and functional medicine-related topics. Learn about the foundational nutrients and the basic lifestyle and diet requirements that you need in order to achieve optimal health. In order to create a paleo template, the first thing you need to ensure is that you're eating foods that are nutrient dense— regardless if you're having a low carb or high-card, low protein or high protein diet. The second thing that is necessary for optimal health is to keep all chemical, physical, and mental stressors in check. And the third is to make sure that we properly digest the food that we eat.
